For agent, there are 5 recommended species: Human, Cyborg, Chiss, Rattataki and Zabrak. I saw many Chiss characters which made me hesitate for a while. It just suits well and it's cool. But in the end I created a Cyborg agent.
And as always, I was wondering if to play her choosing light side decisions or dark side ones. I ended up a good girl, as usual.
Prologue
Working for the Imperial Intelligence, answering directly to the leader called Keeper, the agent is sent to Hutta to convince Nem'ro the Hutt to join the Empire. As expected of an agent, a fake identity is what the agent uses to become someone else - the "Red Blade." The Red Blade is a known criminal, yet nobody knows what kind of appearance or species this person is.
Hutts are species hard to please but Nem'ro doesn't seem to ask for that much. Not something you can't handle.
You also meet your first companion there, a Rattataki called Kaliyo Djannis. She's not the sweet innocent girl like other female companions and maybe that's why I like her. As a male agent you can find her as a love interest and have an actual romance with her. To me, she was more like a partner in a crime.
Though I must admit... she disapproved of my "good" decisions. Perhaps I wasn't just born an anarchist like her, lol.
Once dealth with Nem'ro, you're called to Dromund Kaas, the capital of the Empire. There, a member of the Dark Council, Darth Jadus, finds an interesting and useful person in you. To me, it was quite a suprise, that you, an Imperial Agent, a mere being not using the Force, is to work for a Sith. Or he simply needed someone to do the dirty work, nah.
The agent is lately told to meet Darth Jadus in private. He reveals his intent to use the agent as a tool in his big plans.
I was really curious to be honest. However, this dark lord was killed during an attack on an imperial dreadnaught Dominator. A man called the Eagle caused this trouble and eventually becomes your next target, as you are asked to eliminate him. The thing was: how the hell did a Sith lord get killed that easily? Plot twist: I know you're coming back someday.
The agent is given a new code name "Cipher Nine" and a starship, actually a pretty cool one, X-70B Phantom!
As for the light and dark side decisions, I don't remember much of it. There were certainly situations where you had to decide if to spare or kill terrorist but no real harm done whatever you did.
To expose him and his doings, you ally with Vector Hyllus, a herald of Killiks (these... bugs, you know), actually living as one of them and also with them, in a nest. He's your second companion and a possible romance for female agents. I knew his romance isn't very long but it's full of nice moments. He doesn't understand feelings well, talks quite dirty but he's good at politics. Even Kaliyo admits that when in a pinch.
And I can't deny, he's sweet. All these buggy things and how he talks of the nest and his political meetings. I can tell he was one of my favourite romanced characters.
But now, back to story. Back then, you also learned about "the Eradicators" which are orbital biological weapons. It's in your own interest to find out about them and try to avoid them being fired as the cost is lot of damage if not commanded. The agent is sent back to Hutta as the Eagle was intercepted and you're finally to get rid of him. You have the chance to kill him. If not doing so, he's actually commiting suicide using a detonator. Still, you obtained command codes, well, a half of them. So whatever happens with the Eradicators now, you are responsible.
In the end, you're called back to Dromund Kaas to speak to Keeper and Watcher Two. You are to act swiftly as the Eradicators are still a threat but before that Darth Zhorrid is waiting for you. It seems she just can't keep up and the Council is too much for her. There you got it, girl. You burrrn.
What's more, she's also asking you to avenge her father. Sure, it's normal to have daddy issues once you're in Star Wars, right?
Once dismissed, the finale of the first chapter comes. An imperial cruiser appears in the space. When you are aboard, you meet a character you know too well - Darth Jadus. Obviously he faked his own death and manipulated everything and everyone just so he can fire the Eradicators and establish a new era.
And here comes the major decision you have to decide. You're the key, the one having the command codes. Jadus offers you the place in his new Empire if you help him. Well, though this was a serious matter... I had a lot of fun.
At first I behaved, talking in metaphores and riddles, even when Jadus threatened my agent. But whatever I said, he didn't even consider being injured by the agent. That was the chance to speak to Watcher Two, as he gave me time to reconsider his offer.
There were two options: to give him the command codes and watch him destroy and kill or to refuse, whatever the consequences were. Then, Watcher Two came up with a new option: to give him the codes but sabotage his ship. Although his attack will launch, he could be caught eventually.
I didn't want to risk that much and just decided to stop the Eradicators myself, although I pranked Watcher Two before, telling her I have my own reasons to join the dark lord. And although the dark lord himself wanted me dead once I ruined his plan. Still, I kept my spirit.
Even with all the harm done, I couldn't bring myself to kill her and so she did the job instead. With that, there was the one last decision to make. Ardun didn't give up on Legate and came back. I had to decide if to destroy the Black Codex or hand it over to SIS.
After all what happened I didn't know if to trust him. He was, after all, a fallen Jedi and a man who abused the agent. But still, I believed him. When he was about to leave, he called me Legate once again. I somehow wanted to be Legate more than Cipher. And then, he came with an offer.
I knew the answer all along. Although betraying the Empire willingly, I accepted the offer.
My opinion
Agent's storyline is one of the best I ever played. Normally, I rather play as a Force-sensitive but this was something worth my time. I loved it.
I quite enjoyed using agent's charm as a tool to get informations from people. And well, I have to admit, imperial uniforms are just perfect. Also maybe the reason I gave one to Vector.
Ardun's character was another thing I liked about this story. He was well aware of the consequences coming when the agent was freed from brainwashing. Not like those begging for their lives.
And if I had the time to play agent's story once again, I'd do it.

Chapter 1
In the chapter 1, you're meeting with Darth Zhorrid, daughter of Darth Jadus and now a member of the Dark Council. Drama queen, a girl totally not fitting to be a Sith and obviously thinking everyone does as she pleases. And if not... oh how much I hated her.
Your primal task is to hunt down the Eagle. As you travel across worlds, you disturb his network by destroying tools he's using. Still, there is one more thing before you can completely ruin his plans (like more attack and other terrorist stuff.) The Eagle has a sponsor on Alderaan, a bureaucrat. And as you may know, it's hard to just infiltrate house of such an untouchable person. To expose him and his doings, you ally with Vector Hyllus, a herald of Killiks (these... bugs, you know), actually living as one of them and also with them, in a nest. Chapter 2
In the begining you find out Keeper is now Minister of Intelligence and Watcher Two was promoted to new Keeper.
The agent's mission is quite complicated now, yet seems to be fun at first. Your mission is to infiltrate the SIS, a republic organization. I was really excited because I secretly wanted to join the Republic with my agent, if possible.
The agent's mission is quite complicated now, yet seems to be fun at first. Your mission is to infiltrate the SIS, a republic organization. I was really excited because I secretly wanted to join the Republic with my agent, if possible.
There, you are to spy on Ardun Kothe to find out what he's up to. But before you meet him, an agent called Hunter contacts you, giving you a mission so you can prove yourself. Then you're given a code name Legate.
He doesn't believe you just want to switch sides, obviously, but still you're meeting the leader of the squad you're in - already mentioned Ardun Kothe.
Enjoying yourself being a double agent? Now comes the real fun. Because nobody believes you're not loyal to the Empire anymore. And so Ardun uses a brainwashing program on you. Which means? He says a keyword and he can control your mind as he likes. He says jump and you don't ask how high but just do it.
He also wants you you to report him what's the Empire doing. And even you want your mind back, you don't have a choice but follow orders. I even talked to them the way I meant it, like I came in a good faith and really wanted to join them. I didn't even try to tell the Empire they're brainwashing me as it would be useless - they just wouldn't allow you to do so. Everytime the Republic wasn't sure of my loyalty (like every damn time I was to decide something), they just used the keyword and controlled my mind. Even I wanted to argue, the agent just agreed although I chose a different decision. Which meant the agent can still think on her own but act as she's told.
In this chapter, you also meet two new companions. The first one is on planet Taris, Doctor Lokin. I kind of didn't like him from the whole begining. I approved of his passion in research but when he wanted to examine Vector, I really got mad. Nobody's touching my bugboy.
A voice in your head talks to you often and leads you to find out how to stop your brainwashing. The man helping you is actually Watcher X. Didn't I mention him? He's the weirdo guy from Nar Shaddaa. I still can't say what do I think of him. He just was in the story and gets kills by the agent but before that he somehow managed to get into agent's mind. Now, in the time of need, becomes a welcomed ally.
As you find clues with the help of Watcher X's voice, it brings you back to Dromund Kaas. There you find data about your brainwashing and it is clear that the one who gave the permission to it was the Keeper himself. How did the Republic get it... that's in the stars.
The next companion is Ensign Raina Temple you meet on Hoth. As an male agent, you can share few romantic moments with her but can't initiate a full romance. She's also force-sensitive. Not much like a Jedi or Sith but works for her. I can't say she was a bad character but I don't remember taking her somewhere as a companion. However, she's willing to learn from you and respects you.
Now comes the final stage. Ardun tells you to come to Quesh. Everything seems in order until you find out Ardun's true purpose. He wants to steal powerful explosions called the Shadow Arsenal, hoping to fulfill his vision of destroying the Kaas City. Ardun commands the agent to hold the position until he and his squad gets off Quesh.
In the meanwhile, the agent managed to free herself of the mind control with the help of Watcher X. Then, ruining Ardun's plan, rushes to Ardun himself. He admits what he did to you was unforgiveable and reveals his true identity to be an ex-Jedi. You can kill him but also let him go. I can tell letting him go was a good choice for me and for the upcoming events.
That isn't the end unfortunately. Soon, Hunter finds out you have your mind back and plans to get rid of you. But he didn't forget to make fun of you first.
When the agent escapes the attack, a new mission is already awaiting, its purpose clear: eliminating Hunter.
Chapter 3
The agent goes to Belsavis, presuming Hunter might be there. Instead of searching for him blindly, you help a group of criminals escape their cells. You hire them to help you break into the Megasecurity Ward 23, which is exactly what you need. There, you learn of the "Star Cabal" which is a council manipulating wars. In this bunker, you also find the last of your companions - SCORPIO. She tries to stop you at first as you're just an intruder to her. After the agent beats her and captures her, SCORPIO intents to find her freedom. Eventually she stays with the agent for she knows it might benefit her.
The Keeper falls into uncousciousness and the agent's on her own for a while. You're instructed to go on Voss, looking for the "Shining Man." It's known the Voss are nothing but faction of their own and don't usually pick a side.
The agent must head to Nightmare lands and it is said only a Voss can see the carvings there. The Voss respect their traditions and violating them is highly dishonoring. The agent is offered to marry a Voss to become one of them.
After learning of everything needed, you're called back to the headquarters of the Intelligence where another Sith appears. This Kaleesh tells you the Intelligence is over with and orders you to join the military forces on Corellia. At the same time, Kaliyo is arrested for being an anarchist and a threat to the Empire. Well, she's not the one to be toyed with.
On Corellia you work as you're told for a while, doing the dirty job for the Sith who called you here. It doesn't take long and the Keeper manges to reach you and help you find the Star Cabal where Hunter is. But the agent is caught unprepared and tortured by HunterAfter he runs away for the last time, there's one last thing before you leave Corellia. Of course, just in case you let Ardun live. Once you meet him again, you can explain him the whole thing and Ardun leaves you so you can do your job.
In the finale you board the Star Chamber where the Hunter is hiding. I was getting tired of him escaping anytime it didn't look good for him but in the end I managed to confront him. Although the conversation was quite... theatrical?
Romeo, why are you Romeo?
I didn't want to kill Hunter, at least not right after the fight. Although I knew all informations about the Star Cabal were in the Black Codex behind him, I wanted to know. I wanted to know why Hunter acted so obsessed. Hunter then revealed he's actually a woman. A woman with no particular reason to fight you. None but just out of jealousy at first. But then? An admiration, attraction and maybe some kind of love.
"I was a little girl when they found me. They erased my name, my planet... eventually, it's easier to make up someone new. Then you came along. You kept your face when you became Cipher Nine. And I was so jealous... but we had fun."It somehow made me feel sorry for her. But it didn't make me to change my opinion. Everytime Hunter said something, my agent spat out the answer like she was despising Hunter her whole life. I just felt like that although Hunter actually liked Cipher.
Even with all the harm done, I couldn't bring myself to kill her and so she did the job instead. With that, there was the one last decision to make. Ardun didn't give up on Legate and came back. I had to decide if to destroy the Black Codex or hand it over to SIS.
